What is PVF?

Polyvinyl fluoride is also called as PVF. PVF is a semi-crystalline, colorless, transparent-translucent fluoropolymer with good chemical resistance, good weatherability and self-extinguishing properties. PVF has an extremely high tolerance to flexing and is a very slow burning substance.
Ribils PVF is a thermal transfer printable polyvinylfluoride (Tedlar®) film with a permanent acrylic adhesive, designed for wire and cable marking and other general labeling applications that require the “self-extinguishing” properties of Tedlar®. It is ideal in a variety of harsh physical and chemical environments; resists water, oil, cleaning agents and oil based solvents; and filters ultraviolet light.

Features and Benefits

• Thermal transfer printable
• Ideal for wire and cable marking
• Self-extinguishing adhesive
• Resistant to a variety of solvents

Applicable Industry Products

• Ideal for wire and cable marking
Self laminating PVF label is a fluorinated polyethylene film label with permanent acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive and surface coating suitable for thermal transfer printing. It is mainly used for cable identification and labels requiring flame retardant properties. Experiments have proved that the label has good flame retardancy, heat resistance and corrosion resistance.

• PCB circuit board application
The “S” surface has excellent anti-stick properties and can be used as a release agent for epoxy, phenolic, rubber and other plastic resins. It is especially suitable for the fabrication of printed circuit boards and composite parts. Outdoor weathering tests of Tedlar” tinted films have been conducted for over 20 years. Weatherability, inertness and strength properties indicate wide use as a surface treatment for metal, cardboard, felt or plastic in architectural, decorative or industrial applications. Sensitive to the electrical industry Properties of interest include excellent hydrolytic stability and high dielectric strength and dielectric constant.
It is well suited for a variety of harsh physical and chemical environments; is water, oil, detergent and oily solvent resistant; and filters UV rays. Applicable to various industrial environments and complex requirements and procedures. You can rely on our professional knowledge and labels to help you effectively customize your product-specific labels. We provide professional material sample testing and professional staff docking. All while ensuring our objectivity, integrity and professionalism.

PVF Clear Protection Film
• Cabin interior surfaces contain complex circuits
DuPont Tedlar PVF Clear Protection Film brings maximum design flexibility to the aerospace product manufacturing industry, creating more attractive, easy-to-clean and wear-resistant cabin areas. Tedlar film has the characteristics of light weight, high comfort, strong decoration and printability. Tedlar film has been certified and can be widely used in heat or sound insulation mats; laminated with metal can be used as fire protection layer, cable label, etc., and can also be used as composite material label when metal sheet cannot be used to fix mechanical parts.
