Wax Ribbon
Wax ribbon uses wax-based inks that require a low melting point to print on your material. This is the most common and cheapest type of ribbon, making them ideal for printing on uncoated or non-glossy surfaces and short-lived labels.

Wax Resin Ribbon
Ribbon containing wax resins combine wax and resin to make labels more durable. They are more resistant to handling, moisture and temperature changes, and can even be used on shiny or smooth surfaces and synthetic materials, making them more durable and long-lasting than wax ribbons.

Resin Ribbon
This ribbon is made of pure resin, which provides a higher melting point and makes them very durable. A more expensive option, resin ribbons are ideal for producing high quality, durable labels that are ideal for a variety of applications such as flexible materials and packaging, sensitive applications and textile labels.
