Performance

Ruilabels E-Beam Irradiation Sterilization Label turns from orange to almost positive red at about 10kGy, and slowly deepens with the increase of accumulated absorbed dose until it turns into deep red.

The color durability of conventional radiation indicator labels requires high environmental requirements, and the storage environment after irradiation should not contain a large amount of organic gases and should not be stored and transported together with ethylene oxide sterilized products; Ruilabels radiation indicator labels are much less sensitive to organic gases in the environment because of a protective layer. Tests have shown that Ruilabels radiation indicator labels have far better color durability in harsh environments than comparable products.

Applications

Ruilabels Gamma Radiation Sterilization Indicator Labels are used for visual quality control of irradiated processes to determine if the product has been properly irradiated.

Storage Requirements

Unirradiated radiation indicator labels should be stored at room temperature (15-30°C). Gentle heating to about 40°C does not negatively affect the discoloration properties of radiation indicator labels. Ultraviolet light has a significant effect on label color. Do not store labels exposed to fluorescent light or direct sunlight for extended periods of time.

Shelf life

Radiation indicator label packaging is printed with the product lot number and expiration date to control the performance quality level of the product. The user should use this radiation label on or before the expiration date. the Ruilabels irradiation sterilization indication label specifies a product expiration date of 24 months from the date of manufacture. the user should use this product before the expiration date.
