Description
Primary Blood Bag Label
This Hospital Blood Bag Labels are affixed directly to the blood bags by the blood bag manufacturer and display information such as the manufacturer’s name and address, as well as the batch number and product code for traceability. Other primary labels are also used in processing facilities, such as in blood banks or hospitals. After blood collection is complete, blood bags must be labelled and barcoded with important information such as blood type and donor number. Adhesives used on such labels must not alter the composition of blood products or damage them. The Primary Blood Bag adhesive is ISEGA approved to ISO 3826 and can be applied directly to the blood bag.
Secondary blood bag label
Secondary labels, which are designed to be placed on top of the primary label, are typically multi-part designs for traceability and tracking purposes. This material is not approved for direct application to blood bags and should only be used for overlay applications.
