Description
Strong Solvent Resistant Labels
Labels are coated with a permanent, chemically resistant, ultra-resistant adhesive that maintains adhesion in even the harshest environments. These strong solvent resistant labels and their printouts can withstand up to 15 hours of xylene immersion on a microscope slide (thorough testing under end-user application conditions is highly recommended).
Compatible with all major commercially available barcode printers, these solvent resistant labels can be printed with alphanumeric text, 1D and 2D barcodes, and serial numbers using our recommended B110CU grade chemical-resistant ribbons.
Print the labels with the Ricoh B110CU ribbon. The label is attached to an aluminum plate and allowed to sit for 24 hours prior to testing.
Test Method: Mechanical rubbing test
A dropper is used to apply a continuous drop of solvent on the image and a pressure of 1 kg is applied to a cotton cloth of size 50 mm x 50 mm and rubbed back and forth on the label.
