The polyimide material is lightweight, flexible, heat and chemical resistant, and can withstand temperatures up to 350°C, providing ultra-high temperature performance. Therefore, they are used for barcode label tracking in the printed circuit board industry.
Our high temperature label materials are 1.0 mil and 2.0 mil, glossy or matt white surface polyimide film facestocks coated with acrylic adhesives for tracking automotive engine production process control and electronic component traceability, Ideal for tracking label wave soldering processes on exposed printed circuit boards. This material is thermal transfer printable and can be used with our thermal transfer ribbons to print high-definition barcode serial numbers.
